Partner, 1992 - present. Associate, 1988 - 1992. Counsel to primarily management employer clients in all aspects of labour and employment law. Deals with applications for certification, unfair labour practice allegations and Labour Board rulings on whether employees are appropriate for inclusion in a bargaining unit and is involved in labour negotiations and as counsel in both grievance and interest arbitration. Provides advice to employers on matters of discipline, termination and change of conditions of employment and is frequently involved in negotiating and/or litigating such matters. Is involved in handling Human Rights complaints, Workers’ Compensation claims, Employment Standards claims and allegations of violations of the Workplace Safety and Health legislation. Reviews and provides opinions on workplace policy and procedures. Has appeared before a number of administrative tribunals.
